It is with sadness that we report the death of LTSB’s beloved friend and supporter, Stewart Humphrey, on 27th December 2023.

Stewart was an LTSB trustee during its important formative years. His extensive business and charity skills were invaluable but it was his unique sense of humour and kindness that stands out in our memories.

He attended countless events, buying us a dozen timers to improve our speed interview sessions, and scores of copies of the book “Who Moved My Cheese?” that he gave to our young people as part of his talks. He was always voted the most popular guest speaker, despite there always being a number of other distinguished speakers.

Stewart also mentored two young women on LTSB programmes that have each gone on to terrific careers. He was irrepressible and is irreplaceable. “An absolute Gent!”
