LTSB is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Burton as the charity’s new Chief Executive Officer. Rob brings an extensive background of charity leadership, having most recently served as CEO at Age UK Richmond. Prior to this he has held senior roles at a range of charities and has set up and mobilised numerous foundations and charities in the UK and abroad. He will use this experience to lead LTSB as it continues to develop and support even more young people, at the same time ensuring strong governance best practice is adhered to and maintained.

Rob Burton said:

“I am delighted to join LTSB at such an exciting time for the organisation. With such a passionate and skilled staff team in place, complemented by a committed and supportive board of trustees, we are extremely well placed to continue to develop as a charity and support even more young people to achieve their potential.”

David Pinchin, Chair and Founder of LTSB, said:

“We are very fortunate to have Rob join us at a time when LTSB is expanding its presence in the UK as we seek to transform even more bright young lives. He brings a wealth of experience across the sector, and his passion for tackling inequality and promoting social mobility will be a huge asset for LTSB. My fellow trustees and I very much look forward to working with him.”

About LTSB

Since 2012, LTSB has changed the lives of hundreds of young people from disadvantaged and low-income backgrounds across the UK. We support young people to improve their employability skills, confidence and qualifications through our bootcamps and then open up career opportunities, providing connections to top employers and access to professional networks.

But we don’t stop there.

Working in partnership with employers, we support young people for at least a year as they transition into meaningful roles with clear progression opportunities. We are defined by our young-person centred and long-term approach, our extensive collaboration with corporate partners, and our sustainable, life changing impact.
