At LTSB, we rely on volunteers to help us provide excellent workplace preparation, leading skills sessions or insight days and giving expert professional advice for our aspiring apprentices.

This year we are thrilled to embed volunteering more deeply in our programme with the launch of Leadership Careers Club, a brand new mentoring programme which sees corporate volunteers dedicate an hour of their time each month over the course of one year.

In their meetings mentors are focussing on helping their mentees identify their short and long-term goals as they transition into work, as well as supporting them with any professional issues that arise.

Our mentors will contribute much-needed insight into the professional working world and equip the young people with a holistic support network to complement the provision in place from the LTSB cohort managers and employment team.

We are very grateful to all our volunteers, and the supporting companies including Macquarie, TP ICAP and RSM.
