Get work-ready, Earn a living wage, Reach your potential
LTSB is a social mobility charity and we’ve partnered with NatWest Group to connect young people from underserved backgrounds with brilliant apprenticeship opportunities.
We are offering places on our two-week interactive course where you will receive employability training, interaction with NatWest Group staff and Q&A sessions, gain insight into the culture at NatWest Group and other employers, interview prep work and advice from previous LTSB students on their apprenticeships.
Everybody who completes our three-week course is guaranteed an interview for an apprenticeship at NatWest!
- Programme start date: 19th August
- Job start date: October 2024
- Apprenticeship: Level 6 – 8 Digital Technology Apprenticeships (Cyber Security, IT Support and Network Infrastructure)
It’s essential that you have a passion for technology or coding. You’ll need to demonstrate this through a relevant IT/Software qualification (HNC level or equivalent) or relevant work experience.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educated at a state school (non fee-paying)
- Live in Edinburgh
- Received free school meals and/or require additional support to access careers
- National 5 qualifications
You won’t be able to join the programme if you have the same or equivalent qualification in a similar field. This may include a related apprenticeship, a university degree or a role in which you may have developed similar skills.
LTSB will continue to support successful candidates until roles commence in the autumn, and then for the first year of your career.
On the apprenticeship you’ll study to gain a qualification while putting new skills to use in work, earning a competitive salary, and being supported professionally through the programme.
An apprenticeship with NatWest Group is a fantastic alternative to full time education, and a unique opportunity to become part of a diverse, challenging and exciting organisation.
