Overview

We’ve partnered with NatWest Group to create high-quality apprenticeship opportunities for young people from underrepresented backgrounds who are passionate about starting a career in the banking industry, with roles spanning data, technology and customer service.

Led by our experienced Careers Development Managers, our bespoke 2-week course will help your professional development, build your confidence and prepare you for a guaranteed interview with NatWest.

L3 Senior Financial Customer Service Advisor (Manchester)

As a Customer Service Apprentice, you’ll be part of the Commercial & Institutional Banking team, supporting UK businesses from start-ups to large corporations. Through the Senior Financial Services Customer Adviser Level 3 apprenticeship, you’ll investigate queries, support business processes, and understand customer needs. You’ll analyse and escalate queries, provide solutions, and support team training. We’re looking for passionate, motivated individuals with strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a focus on customer service.

Qualification: Senior Financial Customer Advisor

We are looking for young people aged 16– 24 who are passionate about building a career at NatWest Group. You don’t need previous experience, but you do need to show evidence of a genuine interest in the role you’re applying for.

Eligibility Criteria:
✅ 16-24 years old
✅ Received free school meals and/or require additional support to access careers
✅ Did not attend a private / fee-paying school

You will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade 9-4, or equivalent National 5 qualifications in Scotland.

Digital roles in Scotland: It’s essential that you have a passion for technology or coding. You’ll need to demonstrate this through a relevant IT/Software qualification (HNC level or equivalent) or relevant work experience.

You won’t be able to join the programme if you have the same or equivalent qualification, or work experience at a similar level in a similar field. This may include a related apprenticeship, a university degree or a role in which you may have developed similar skills. You can still apply if you have a equivalent level qualification in a different field.

Everyone who completes our course is guaranteed an interview with NatWest. You’ll receive 1-2-1 support to develop your interview skills and exclusive networking opportunities with professional volunteers from a range of major companies.

Those selected by NatWest at interview will then undergo the necessary checks before the official apprenticeship start date: 21st October 2024.

Our 3-week bootcamps will mostly be delivered online. You will need a device to access the sessions via Zoom, and a stable internet connection.

We will also include some in-person events for successful candidates to meet the team!
