Taking place on Sunday 7th September 2025, this iconic race spans 13.1 miles, starting in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne and finishing along the stunning coastline of South Shields.

One of the world’s most famous races, the Great North Run isn’t just about crossing the finish line; it’s about the journey, the stories, and the lives we can change together. By lacing up your trainers and running for LTSB, you’ll be helping us make a real difference to so many young people.

Taking on the 3 Peaks challenge is no mean feat, but that is exactly what Catherine did:

“Taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge was HUGE on every level. It was the biggest mental and physical endurance challenge I’d ever undertaken, but it was an experience of a lifetime and something I will never forget.
