ON TRACK TO ACHIEVE

On Track to Achieve (OTTA) is the schools’ programme originally launched by Dame Kelly Holmes Trust and now run by LTSB.

OTTA is a school-based mentoring programme, to support young people who would benefit from a positive role model to achieve their potential. Our athlete mentors work with students to improve confidence, resilience and wellbeing, as well as helping them to build healthy relationships and understand the importance of physical and mental wellbeing.

About OTTA

OTTA is delivered across eight, two-hour sessions in your school, to 20 young people (split into 2 x groups of 10), aged 11 – 19.

The programme is designed to support those that are not currently fulfilling their potential, and are held back by one or more of the following:

  • Challenging personal circumstances;
  • Low self-esteem and a lack of confidence;
  • Behaviour issues;
  • Low academic attainment;
  • Benefit from the support of a role mode

We look forward to working with athletes and helping them transition from the world of elite sport, including as Athlete Mentors to young people.
