Leadership Through Sport & Business is delighted to announce it has been awarded a grant from People’s Postcode Trust, a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

The £20,000 funding has allowed us to expand our work in the North-West, building on last year’s success in Manchester by starting a cohort in Liverpool. We’re incredibly lucky to be supported by our delivery partners LFC Foundation and Kaplan, ensuring that bright young people from disadvantaged backgrounds have the preparation and support to make the most of their ability.

As you can see from the gallery below, we’ve completed the pre-apprenticeship phase already. They’ve gained transferable skills through social action and training, have completed AAT Level 2 – and now we’re excited to introduce our young people to the business world!

The People’s Postcode Trust funding is central to our ability to deliver this critical preparation work – thanks!

If you’re an employer committed to social mobility, and willing to give a young person a chance to show what they can do, come to our next North-West Employers Event on Monday 26th February 5:30pm – 7:30pm at The Liverpool Hilton, 3 Thomas Steers Way, Liverpool L1 8LW. Get in touch with our Employment Director Debs Barlow at [email protected] to book your place!
