On Sunday 26 April, the incredible Nathan Keevil completed the TCS London Marathon in support of LTSB!
Nathan is the nephew of LTSB Trustee Lorraine Barclay ACCA who has been a huge support throughout Nathan’s marathon journey. As well as being there on the day to cheer him on, she has also played a key role in supporting journey to raise vital funds to help our young people. So far, they have raised over £3,000!
We talked to Nathan after the event, and he told us:
“It was a really fun day, but the heat was tough! But the atmosphere was incredible, and at some points that was the only thing that kept me going. Completing the marathon is just a once in a lifetime high, and something I will
cherish for the rest of my life. The memories of my family supporting me will stay with me forever. I hope that our fundraising will create opportunities for more young people to access and develop in their early careers. I also want to spread the word about LTSB and the amazing work they do!

The TCS London Marathon is capital’s biggest sporting event, with over 59,000 runners taking part and thousands of supporters lining the 26.2 mile route. The London Marathon is also the UK’s biggest single-day fundraising event. As well as setting new records and personal bests, the London Marathon also raises tens of millions of pounds for charity. It holds the title as the biggest one-day fundraising event, last year achieving a total of almost £90m!
